Malibu is famous for its architecture but there are few homes more striking than 'Ravenseye'. Designed by world renowned architect Harry Gesner, this remarkable home greets visitors with a huge medieval arched oak door complete with spy hole and a medieval door bolt. Upon entry one steps into the vast living area and gazes in wonder through incredible 3 story height wooden arched framed windows out to sea. The living area features an open floor plan, the eye drawn to a Gothic influenced fireplace crowned by a large set of stag antlers. The décor is eclectic and unique, an array of stunning furnishings gathered from various corners of the globe, blending modern with antique. The floor is solid state mosaic tile. Two en-suite bedrooms feature sliding glass doors that overlook the ocean and rival the finest hotel rooms. A third guest bedroom features a custom white leather Miami themed day bed.



The location of this property is ideal for those wishing to be close to the sea yet with peace and serenity. Unlike beach properties that jostle tightly among neighbors and the line the noisy and hazardous Pacific Coast Highway, Ravenseye sits majestically on a lush hillside and enjoys wonderful seclusion, with the bustle of the PCH merely a soft whisper below. There is ample street parking for a fleet of cars as well as a 2 car garage off of a private street. Additional film production and truck parking is also available.



The grounds of Ravenseye are accented by a private outdoor pool and hot tub surrounded by mature vegetation. Interior furnishings include a foosball table and a baby grand piano. One can still hear the sound of waves crashing on the beach but not in a way that disturbs the sleep.
