The teamA?s mission is to develop innovative applications that completely differentiate it from competitors. Insite Test Engineers are responsible for development, implementation, and execution of all test procedures and processes. This includes creation and management of test data sets to validate mainstream and edge scenarios through manual and automated testing. The Quality Assurance team needs to work with Product Management and Engineering teams during the software development cycle to ensure thoughtful planning and test execution to facilitate a smooth hand off to production.Test engineers will be involved in manual and automated testing. Current testing methodology mainly relies on manual and ad hoc testing. Our goal is to implement testing automation of our website, mobile app and APIs. The right person for this job will be able to help with the manual testing but be part of the driving force to automate our testing. Be an integral part of the development cycle. The successful candidate needs to collaborate with design, development, and dev ops. It is critical test engineers be an active part of the design phase to understand what is being created and the associated testing needs. This allows them to develop test plans to ensure deliverable match expectations.Test engineers need to balance forward leaning work with the work of verifying current software testing efforts. Help developers create unit tests and hold them accountable for delivering code with a unit test plan.Ensure our functional testing procedures catch issues before customers find them. QA is the last checkpoint to verify enhancements and/or bug fixes are exactly like the intended designed before production deployment. Help develop and execute our regression:testing suite. It is critical we have a base line understanding of the issues and make sure new enhancements or bug fixes do not create additional inadvertent errors.Help develop and enhance our API testing.Help with performance and load testing of our applicationsHelp own the deployment process.Have the courage and respect for your teammates to give them feedback : both positive and critical. Criticism given correctly and received correctly is a gift. BachelorA?s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT technologies or relevant fieldwork experience and training.5+ years of quality assurance testing experience for software technology companies. Mobile application testing is a big plus.Proven record of accomplishment working on successful products. Be prepared to explain in detail.Experience with testing tools (like) Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Load Runner, Jasmine and ProtractorExperience with Java, Python, Javascript, Node.js, HTML / CSS.Proficiency in Git/BitbucketA?Experience with API testing tools (like) Postman and Soap UI.Ability to write SQL queries.Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross:functional groups to accomplish goals.A?Outstanding communication skills. Ability to address senior executives, customers, subject experts and engineers. Be a mature full formed adult in your interactions with people.
