Title: User Researcher Location: Sacramento, CA Type: Contract Duration: 3 Months (Potential of 2 years extension) Description: + User Researcher Team shall have been involved as the lead User Researcher in at least two (2) digital service projects. + Each member of the User Researcher Team shall have been involved in at least one agile software development project. + Taken as a whole, User Researcher Team shall have at least two (2) years FTE experience between them, in each of the following: a. Planning and leading user research; + Taken as a whole, the User Researcher Team shall have at least two (2) years FTE experience between them, in each of the following: b. Producing user requirements, specifications and experience goals; + Taken as a whole, the Interaction Designer/User Researcher/Usability Tester Team shall have at least two (2) years FTE experience between them, in each of the following: + d. Presenting synthesis to clients. Requirements Responsibilities: Our client is looking for a UX Researcher / User experience Researcher, the ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to: The User Experience Researcher will be primarily responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting on user:centered design research and usability testing for the company website, including identification of user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling, ethnography and persona development as well as rapid iterative usability testing, and more formal, in:depth testing. A successful User Experience Researcher must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects. A: Conduct usability research both online and in the field and provide recommendations for improvement. A: Serve as a member of a team that acts as a repository of research:based usability knowledge. A: Work with project business representatives and team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods. A: Determine user needs by conducting task:focused analyses. A: Work with graphic designers to test proposed look and feel initiatives. A: Coordinate, conduct and moderate Experience Requirements: Usability moderating (all types, particularly one:on:one), participant recruiting/screener creation, experimental design, test method selection, debriefing, facilitation, participant recruiting/screener creation, statistical/qualitative/quantitative analysis, presentations (verbal and written) Benefits Note: If Interested please send your updated resume include your rate/salary requirement along with your contact details with a suitable time when we can reach you.
