Job Description:/h3:
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Sales Manager is responsible for the successful partnerships with product representatives and OEM customers. Success is defined in terms of overall sales, the costs of doing business and strength of the relationships.

The Sales Manager will plan and direct all sales activities in a manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue new market opportunities for S.T. Johnson products, systems and services.
Manage and direct sales and customer service staff.
Plan and coordinate sales efforts for maximum sales volume and rep support.
Develop effective OEM and rep strategies
Manage rep organizations to ensure their alignment with our company operating philosophy and values.
Ensure organizational structure is sufficient for the territories and long term success.
Monitor sales, margins, market penetration, warranty etc., and establish appropriate plans
Conduct sales forecasting
Organize sales meetings and shows
Act as the focal point to handle all rep issues/conflicts
Periodic and routine rep visits
Technical training and presentations, as well as field visits
Engineering sales calls

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering and Management required with demonstrated experience in
Burners/Boilers/HVAC/Controls
Sales experience dealing with OEMs, representatives and distributors
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand and conduct professional presentations in large group setting
Valid, non:restricted drivers license, valid passport, and ability to travel up to 30

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Repetitive Motion : Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
Sitting : The body is supported by buttocks and back and employees needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
Travel : Work requires travel by car or airplane and includes extended periods of sitting.
Vision : Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal and to analyze data.
Presentations:Ability to stand and conduct technical sales presentations
