As an Emerging Memories Product Development Engineer, you will have responsibilities for performing statistical modeling and characterization of new semiconductor memory product architectures implemented in emerging memory technologies. This will involve working in cross:functional teams across engineering disciplines to identify, understand and resolve problems.
Specific responsibilities will include:
:Build statistical models of memory component and cell:level behaviors
:Integrate memory cell and component compact models into a comprehensive component or system:level predictive simulation
:Develop new or modified Si measurements and simulation techniques to more accurately predict product performance and reliability
:Collaboratewith Design, Process, Test and Reliability teams to drive optimal tradeoffs between Si technology and product design goals and requirements
Successful candidates for this position will have these qualifications:
:Experience in statistics and mathematical modeling / coding in MATLAB, Python, C++ or similar platforms
:Familiarity with DRAM product architecture
:Ability to analyze and understand moderately complex circuit operation
:Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
:Proven problem solving and analytical skills and techniques
:Ability and willingness to learn new skills and explore unfamiliar concepts
Education:
This position requires enrollment in an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Prior research experience is a plus.
Must be continuing education in Fall 2017 (Expected graduation date must not be before September 1, 2017)
