x200B;Blue Diamond Growers (BDG) x200B; x200B;is seeking an experienced Consumer Insights Manager to join our team.
Delivers consumer insights and works seamlessly with cross functional partners to further grow the Snack Almonds brand insight initiatives and support the Innovation team for key projects. Collaborates and builds a learning agenda for strategic initiatives within the Brand team. Drives insights and further grow the brand through brand insight initiatives.
Responsibilities:
:
Execute highest priority learning needs to drive category share and category growth.
:
Leads assigned Brand projects through Innovation process ready for commercialization.
:
Gives voice to the consumer learning and collaborate closely with Marketing and R and D partners.
:
Works with analytics to support the Snack Almonds brand team initiatives.
:
Partners with category management to propose and support shopper strategies for specific brands.
:

Qualifications:
Minimum level of education required
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Minimum number of year(s) of experience required in addition to education plus type(s) of functional experience
:5 years of consumer insights, shopper marketing, or brand marketing experience for a CPG organization.
Other required type(s) of functional experience (e.g.
Production/Operations, Accounting, Forklift Operator, Inventory Control, etc.)
:Aptitude to synthesize and create a cohesive picture from a wide variety of information types and sources.
:Ability to effectively communicate insight findings in writing and orally to marketing and key stakeholder audiences.
:Proficiency in or strong aptitude for working with data and guiding research agencies in analyses.
:Solid experience with survey research methods and tools, for both Qualitative and Quantitative techniques.
:Hands on experience of Advertising pre:testing, post evaluation, brand tracking, packaging evaluation, segmentation studies and qualitative approaches.
:Experience presenting research findings in:person to managerial or executive level audiences
:Demonstrative experience of managing research partners to obtain the best value of work and deliverables.
:Good understanding of syndicated data and its uses, such as IRI data, household panel data.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.)
:MBA or advanced degree in research or statistical field North America Insight / Research experience.
:Ability to think of creative approaches to Insight and connecting with Consumers in a rapidly fast changing retail landscape.
:Experience of working in a matrix organization.
:Team collaboration and voice of Consumer within cross:functional team.
:Passion for consumer insights and ability to synthesize multiple consumer touch points/data points into a compelling story.
:Experience working with a high sense of urgency.
:Ability to enrich our understanding of consumer motivations and behaviors in order to develop winning marketing plans.
:Ability to work with agility and pivot in a fast:moving environment.
:Proficient in the use of MS Office, Word, Excel and Power:point.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
:Position highly stressful and demanding. Time may be spent working outside of office.
