Default Coordinator
Orange Coast Title Company is seeking an experienced Default Coordinator. The Default Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and review of Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Eviction, Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, or Title Resolution services. This position requires communication with the client, attorneys, and other associated outside agencies to facilitate all default coordination in a timely manner consistent with established company standards for quality and service.
Responsibilities include:
Review clients referral package to determine type of service
Review documents to ensure all documents needed to process the service requested are included
Preparation of referral letter to local counsel
Review of foreclosure steps and estimated time lines based on state requirements
Monitoring attorney to ensure requirements are completed in a timely manner
Following up for additional requirements from the client and attorneys
Production of reports to clients to ensure the process is completed
Review of attorney invoices to ensure fees and costs being charged are within allowable ranges for the file type and FNMA fee schedule.
Addressing inquiries from clients, attorneys, and internal staff professionally and in a timely manner consistent with established Company standards for quality and service
Notifying all parties involved with any changes
All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
3+ years experience in a default position
Ability to read and interpret documents
Practical work experience within default industry
Working knowledge of foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, deed in lieu of foreclosure, or title resolution
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette
Ability to meet deadlines and specific time frames
Problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Multi state experience is a plus
