This beautiful, colorful and very detailed EMMETT KELLY plate is a brilliant work of art!!! It is a limited-edition plate, the First Edition of the series of Royal Manor Porcelain plates, GREATEST CLOWNS OF THE CIRCUS. World renowned circus artist Robert Weaver was commissioned by the Circus World Museum to paint each of the four great clowns (Emmett Kelly, Lou Jacbos, Felix Adler and Otto Griebling). Under the sponsorship and emblem of the Circus World Museum, these paintings have been replicated onto plates. Certificate of Authenticity Plate number 3517. Plate measures 8-1/4" in diameter with a 24-karat gold band around it. Purchased in September 1982, plate is in PERFECT condition, stored in original container in a smoke-free environment, and NEVER displayed.
