Registered Nurse - Sierra Tucson (Sacramento, California)

Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to assigned patients in this residential treatment setting. Nurses participate in lodge community meetings, and are instrumental in encouraging patients to participate fully in their treatment plans. Nurses must follow established protocols for compliance when distributing necessary medications and documenting the medical records.

Qualified applicantswill be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and be currently licensed as an RN in good standingwith the State of CA. Applicants should have 2+ years psychiatric nursing experience with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.LPNs must be in training to obtain registration and have at least 2 years experience in mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

Mustdisplay strong customer service skills and be able to work with patients with a wide range of diagnoses. Computer skills are necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills are required.
