Job Description Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a Hospital located in Sacramento, CA that is seeking an LCSW Social Worker for their Inpatient Acute Department. This is a contract position that will go for 13-26 weeks. Eligible travelers will receive an hourly rate plus housing allowances The ideal Social Worker-LCSW candidate must have a minimum of 3 years acute care hospital experience working with ER/CC/Psych patients. Experience with 5150 holds and 5150 Certified is a huge plus. This is a night position offering 3x12's for a 6pm-6am 36 hour guarantee Responsibilities: Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history Develop and execute individual treatment plans Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress Communicate client updates to all relevant parties Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs Maintain accurate client documentation Qualifications: Must Have a LCSW License from CA Board of Behavioral Sciences Must have minimum of 3 years recent inpatient acute care hospital experience working with ER/CC/Psych patients Working with 5150 Holds and 5150 Certified a huge plus Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Records Previous experience in social work, counseling, or other related fields Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Strong leadership qualities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Company Description Supplemental Health Care was founded on March 15, 1984, originally created to give healthcare organizations access to traveling psychiatric and operating room nurses and technicians.
