The Senior Human Resources Manager of Dedicated Transportation Solution (DTS) will be responsible for significant consulting and partnering with their assigned regional client group on all HR matters. The incumbent will have broad knowledge and experience in various HR functions including: Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Benefits and Compensation practices, Staffing and Recruiting, Training, Talent Management, Diversity and Performance Management. The individual should be able to clearly define how to maximize the Human Resources in achieving revenue and profit goals. Please note this role can domicle in any location from Texas to the West CoastBachelors degree in Human Resources or other related fieldMasters degree in Human Resources or other related field preferredSeven (7) years or more experience in Human Resources with Bachelors degree or Six (6) years or more experience in Human Resources with Masters degree preferredFive (5) years or more supervisory experienceAbility toGuide, engage, and impart knowledge to others. Provides counsel to managers on broad HR issues which impact critical success factorsCreate and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Analyze and solve problemsInfluence internal and/or external constituentsPerforms work independently with minimal supervision. Required to develop new concepts or approaches without guidance. Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertaintyEffective leadership skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsGeneral knowledge of assigned areas and business perspective (intermediate level)Computer knowledge of MS Office: Microsoft Excel, Windows, Access, PowerPoint, etc. (intermediate level)Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification Ensure the delivery of high quality Human Resources support for the business. Partners with the business team to drive comprehensive Human Resources strategies, policies and practices in the areas of employee relations, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity, Training and StaffingOversees all employee relations matters by up:skilling supervisors and managers ability to handle employee disputes, performance improvement actions and disciplinary actions. Manages Performance Management processes for the region. Oversees large complex projectsWork with the region to establish and drive Diversity initiatives. Facilitate communication to the field on all Human Resources items and coordinate the flow of information and feedback as appropriateAssure compliance with all Federal, State and local employment and labor lawsCreate and support an environment that focuses on coaching and development. Identify talent gap issues and work with HR colleagues and business partners in addressing viable solutionsAdvises on matters pertaining to grievance cases. Translates general direction into specific objectives.
