SBM Management Services LP is one of the nationA?s largest integrated facilities management companies in the United States and because of it continuous growth SBM is looking to add a senior level director to help support the financial teamA?s development and it partnership with operations to ensure we continue to have strong/positive growth moving forward. The Senior Director of Finance will be responsible for forecasting and directing operational budget performance for SBM. Actively interfaces with finance and operations teams to set and deliver operating budget performance and maintain sustainable metrics for operational and customer service excellence. Also supports the oversight of corporate department budgets and participates in financial due diligence for new business opportunities (RFP review, bid modeling, contract administration.) Demonstrates a thorough understanding of internal financial policies and supports adherence to established procedures.Ensure that financial cost models meet the reporting requirements of our operating units, clients and GAAP reporting.Work with the VP of Finance on recommendations on expenditure and revenue requirements to better align the organization on major corporate economic strategies, objectives and policies.Helps support operations in preparation of existing budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification for both internal and external use.Ensure that operations has consistent visibility to current financial performance through weekly communications and reporting.Escalate critical financial issues to the VP of Finance and operationA?s channels to ensure monthly/quarterly performance goals are achieved. These include regular updates throughout the month to both avoid budget surprises and ensure that action plans to close budget gaps are tracked and managed.Work with IT to ensure that JDE reporting and BI meets operating needs of the organization.Work directly with senior operations management teams to develop monthly, quarterly and annual operating budgets to achieve corporate objectives and desired profit expectations.Provide timely reviews of the divisionA?s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities as they relate to operations performance.Coordinate and report quarterly operations incentive programs and work with corporate departments to improve guidelines, controls and rewards. Lead efforts with corporate partners to asses and identify risk exposure due to labor agreements, local/state/federal payroll taxes, salary structures, and service contract T and CA?s, workersA? compensation charges and general liability claims.Supports Business Development team in pricing activities to for new and existing customers to align and protect the overall financial integrity of the organization.Identify key cost drivers in various lines of business to continuously improve pricing structure and increase the organizations competitive advantage.Collect/analyze internal and external market data to drive down the organizationA?s overall cost of ownership.Utilize market intelligence to quantify emerging market segments and increase the existing customer value proposition.Provide training to Finance Managers.Will require occasional travel to support operational initiatives.A minimum of four years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in budgeting/forecasting in a multi:state multi:site environment. Experience in financial planning, analysis, management reporting and project management, preferably in a labor intensive industry. BS in Accounting/Finance. MBA desired.
