Checkpoint is a small No Cal specialty credit service company. We sell credit and public record screening services ( Tenant screening) to the multifamily housing industry and to employers ( Pre: employment screening).
We are looking for a growth building focused sales and customer service executive willing to learn the industry and fully engage.
You need to have a solid direct sales and sales management background as well as hands on experience in nuts and bolts of marketing and sales management of business services or intangibles. The successful candidate will have a clear and verifiable track record in intangibles or business services sales, sales management and customer retention responsibilities in a smaller business environment or start up setting. We want to see people that can attract, train and motivate sales reps to succeed.
Our candidate will be able to show experience in analyzing and understanding target market segmentation, assessing distinctions between us and competitive players, and have the ability to visualize market fit at the customer/ prospect level , then assist reps in performing these tasks in their territories. The person needs to be able to find and act on competitive opportunities and be able to lead groups in realizing them. Good organization skills ability to manage and carry out multiple projects and campaigns at once and bring them to the final conclusion. The desired experience involves several years in hiring, training, and supervision of sales representatives and cust. service personnel. Knowledge of sales support apps and a clear understanding of internet based marketing tools is essential.
We want to see skills and experience in achieving defined growth objectives by recruiting sales reps, getting them trained to succeed and managing, refining and further developing direct, mail, and internet based marketing and selling approaches, including online sales, territory based human contact sales, guiding site development as well as successful recruitment, training and management sales agents for territory based human contact sales to larger account prospects.
Checkpoint screenings principal market is credit products sold to multifamily housing management firms, secondary market in verification support for general employee vetting and hiring decisions.
The position offers a base salary and profit participation with a solid upside potential.
