Position Overview (Hourly: 30 : 42 per hour) (Benefits: Medical, Dental, Eye Care and Life Insurance)
The Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates the activities of Maintenance Departments and aids in formulating and administering organization policies, goals and objectives.

Primary Duties
:Directs and coordinates activities of each molding plant for the attainment of goals and objectives.
:Reviews and analyzes activities, costs and operational effectiveness of all plants for progressing toward stated goals and objectives.
:Development and implementation of a production model aimed at eliminating waste, improving costs and delivery and instills continuous improvement and prevention.

:The installation, maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of facility machinery; also preventative maintenance on facility machinery.
:The formulation and administration of company policies and goals with senior management staff; also writing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analyses (JSAs).
:The Maintenance Manager is responsible for communicating company policies and goals for the Maintenance Departments and to ensure they are progressing toward their assignments.
:The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Plant has the proper resources to support daily operations of the Plant to meet customer requirements; also completing daily maintenance and repair logs; also maintaining Plant records and logs in an orderly and timely fashion; also maintaining and securing work tools; ensure that the Maintenance Department is clean and orderly; ordering tools and machinery parts. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of a suitable maintenance model aimed at waste reduction and continuous improvement.
:Assisting Plant Manager, when required / requested, on all 3rd party and customer audits.
:Performing back up for assembly line; conduct OJT for new employees.

:The Maintenance Manager is authorized to communicate, enforce and assign resources to meet company goals and objectives in the Maintenance Departments.
:The Maintenance Manager is authorized, in conjunction with the Finance/HR Manager, to hire and terminate associates in the Maintenance Departments.
:The Maintenance Manager is authorized to develop and implement a suitable preventative maintenance model for the plant to achieve company goals and objectives.
:The Maintenance Manager is authorized to assist in the development and enforcement of the company budget and capital investment requirements.

Position Requirements
:HS Diploma (BS in Engineering definitely a bonus) or Equivalent Experience and acceptance through the interview process; proficient in writing, arithmetic, document (blue print) reading,
:10 Years maintenance experience (beverage or food industry preferred). Thorough Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Advanced Quality Techniques. Thorough Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Sources of Waste. Bottling / Food Processing / Blow Molding experience is required.
:Experience in Leading and Facilitating Continuous Improvement Teams. Familiar with Food Manufacturing, CBC GMPs, HACCP program, Quality Systems and test procedures. Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC; electrical; mechanical; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; plumbing; carpentry; and or piping systems.
