Dynamic and progressive educational services nonprofit organization in the greater Sacramento region is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources and Operations Manager. The Human Resources and Operations Manager is a senior position (exempt) in the organization and reports directly to the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer.

Manages and oversees the human resources operations of the organization (talent acquisition and recruitment, on-boarding, professional development, performance management/evaluations, and terminations), payroll and benefits, time and attendance, and compliance.
Make recommendations to senior management team and Board of Directors for improvement of organization’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
Serves as point person for all staff regarding human resources matters.
Works collaboratively with the organization's senior management team in running high level and day-to-day operations of the organization.
Takes the lead on the flow of communication within the organization.
Attends trainings as requested and needed to ensure compliance and to continually improve the organization. Facilitates and participates in staff meetings as requested and needed.
Works closely with the various school districts and school sites and school and district administrators to support the various educational support programs and services of the organization.
Works with vendors and partners in completing contracts for services.
Regular visits to after school sites for general monitoring and check-ins.
Supervises 1-3 Administrative staff and other staff as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
BA/BS degree from a four-year college/university with four years or more experience in management, leadership and related team-building.
Demonstrated track record of success in leadership, organizational management, operations and human resources management.
Experience in California public education and nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
