We are looking for teachers who are INCREDIBLE who can PLAN, PLAY and PUT ON amazing activities for children ages Kindergarten - 8th Grade. All teachers are responsible for curriculum, lesson planning, program implementation, parent/ teacher communication, PLAYING with children, field trips, getting messy, water play and having a great time. Qualifications for Candidates Include: Drug and Alcohol - Free 21 years of age and able to drive school vans (Class C license is fine - must have a good driving record). 1 or more years of experience working with young children in a group setting (which can include child care, summer camps, coaching or recreation centers). High integrity, honest, hard working and team oriented Clean cut presentation, professional dress Pediatric CPR Certified Positive references Education should include: * College units: preferably in Recreation, Elementary Education, Early Childhood or Child Development. Top Wages are paid to AA/ BA degrees in Education or Recreation (or related). Preferred Requirements to fulfill the position: 1.) Meets minimum preparation and experience required as established for fully qualified Teacher within CCLD regulations to include: ( 12 Core Early Childhood Education units passed with an A or B grade) Child Development Child, Family & Community Principals and Practicum / Culture and Diversity Preschool Curriculum or Infant Care OR Holds an AA , BA, or BS in Education, Recreation, ECE, or related field with extensive coursework in working with young children.
