Job DescriptionPosition:Brighton Private School is currently accepting Physical Education Teacher resumes.General description of the position:The Private School Teachers fulfill responsibilities of Brighton Private School Teacher as set forth in the BrightonA cents € (TM) s core and department job descriptions. We adhere to the California Standards for Teaching Profession, Common Core standards, and WASC criteria. This is a part-time, hourly position for Private School with additional hours available in our Before and After school program.General benefits of the position:Competitive salariesHealth insurance (vision and dental)- Full time onlySmall Class sizes and ratios (1:14 or 1:18), 24 students in a classroom. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience with grades Kindergarten through 6th.All teachers must:A' . Possess Pediatric CPR and First Aid (or complete within 2 weeks of hire).A' . Be drug and alcohol-free.A' . Be able to lift and or participate in all classroom, field trip, program activities.A' . Be able to drive school vehicles.A' . Be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed.Additional Desired:1. Multiple Subject (K-8) California Credential (completed/cleared Induction) with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or School Education or Liberal Arts.2. Meets minimum preparation and experience required as established for a teacher in the California Day Care Centers Director Qualifications and Duties, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 2 Regulations.3.
