POSITION TITLE: Project
Geologist/Engineer/Scientist
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Various
REPORTS TO: Office/Division Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full:time

Position Summary:
This position will be to conduct all aspects associated with management of Broadbent projects; assist in overall management of office/division; and assist in development of new work/clientele.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualities;
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

:Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of the consulting business
:Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects
:Possess ability to effectively manage personnel and office administrative activities
:Possess ability and desire to develop new work and clientele
:Maintain communication with regulatory entities and act as client liaison
:Preparation and/or review of work plans/reports
:Technical capabilities associated with the specific field of expertise
:Motivated self:starter and ability to perform periodic field work
:Strong problem solving, research, and communication skills
:Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with site operations
:Willingness to conduct Business Development activities
:Technical writing competency and computer literacy
:Experience with budget preparation and tracking
:Ability to work individually and as a team member
:Strong commitment to Safety and staff development
:Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
:5+ years of related experience
:Self:sufficient, energetic, and highly motivated
:Professional
Registration/Certification preferred
:Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Some outdoor work may be required and the employee will be exposed to extreme heat or cold, high wind, dust particles. Proper protective gear must be worn while in the field including, but not limited to, Safety glasses, shoes, gloves, high visibility vest, long sleeve shirt, long pants.
Must be able to lift 35:49 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
