Located in Folsom California, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Micron is the worlds largest memory company. We are currently looking to hire an experienced engineer for our Product Engineer Reliability team. The PE Reliability engineer is responsible for qualifying Micron NAND Flash products per industry standards. This activity includes evaluating product reliability with respect to various customer usage models (cycling, retention, etc), determining if products pass while employing various ECC requirements at the system level, debugging issues found during qualification stage and be able to segment these failures to process/design/test issues, work with other engineering teams to find solutions to issues found during qualification stage, and assist customer and field application teams on quality and reliability queries and questions on Micron NAND products. There is a high amount of interaction and collaboration with all other Product Engineers to define, develop, validate, characterize, and qualify new NAND memory products together. Ability to do hands on work and experience in leading small technical teams, preferably in non:volatile memory qualification, is a requirement.
: Plan the product qualification activities and work with stakeholders to publish the qualification plan
: Debug and configure the silicon to ensure it meets product expectation
: Run product qualification and evaluate product quality and reliability with respect to customer usage requirements
: Partner with other Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing groups to develop and ship a successful product
: Provide Technical Training and Expertise

Position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree (and preferably a Master's degree) in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5 years of experience.
Course work or work experience in VLSI, device physics, semiconductor process, C/C++, and statistics is required
