WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Maximo** **Functional Analyst** with our **Asset Management team** for our **Sacramento** office. **The Role and The Group Advisory Services** Our US Advisory Services team is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated **Maximo** **Functional Analyst** to both support and drive the continued growth in our Asset Management Advisory practice and the California High Speed Rail program. You will join an established team that is a leader in providing management consulting, finance, and business improvement services across the country and beyond. As the lead **Maximo Functional Analyst** , you will work within the AMO to collect information and assess, and improve current program practices, and lead the design of functional requirements for Maximo including integrations to GIS, BIM and document management systems. As a seasoned Maximo Functional Analyst you will be fully conversant with standard development, test, production cycles and will be able to develop test plans, test scripts, and oversee user acceptance testing. It is expected that the individual will also provide leadership and training to more junior analysts. While the role initially is part of the California High Speed Rail project, WSP have a growing need for individuals with this experience nationwide. In addition WSP is continuing to develop its AMO-as-a-service capability. This role therefore has further opportunities nationwide which will be discussed at interview. > # Required Attributes and Responsibilities > + Proven experience in consulting or a comparable role in an organization where the individual has held a role responsible for the management of assets or the deployment of technologies to manage assets. + A strong team player who can get things done, can provide leadership when needed or be led when required. + A good understanding of asset management and the challenges organizations face with introducing business change to improve management practices + Experience with asset management processes and best practices preferably within the rail or transit industry, but will consider other infrastructure sectors also. + Experience implementing linear assert models, linear referencing systems and methods (all infrastructure sectors) is desirable. + At least 7 years' experience with Maximo, including Maximo 7.5.x, 7.6.x in an Enterprise implementation Experience with Maximo Transportation, Maximo HSE, Maximo Spatial, and Maximo Linear is preferable. + Experience developing requirements for Maximo in an integrated enterprise architecture including interfaces to other Enterprise systems that EAM depends on (ERP, time keeping, safety management systems, qualifications & certifications, financial systems, P&L, etc.). + A good understanding of technologies used to support asset management (EAM, GIS, CADD, BIM, etc.) and a good understanding of asset based technologies. Direct experience with ESRI Enterprise GIS preferable. + Experience implementing mobile solutions related to the management of assets and asset information, preferably related to work management, asset/location registry management, and inspections. + Familiarity with national and international practices and standards + An ability to share knowledge informally and formally and coach and support more junior consultants + Actively contributes to and able to manage client relationships (both internally and externally) + Can work within a multi-disciplinary team to support, and/or lead the delivery of complex consulting projects across sectors with a particular focus on the infrastructure verticals + Independently perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, document findings, present project outcomes and manage client relationships + Support the professional growth of our junior consultants within the AMBA practice area > # Job Requirements > **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in relevant field, with graduate degree preferred + 10+ years' experience in directly relevant endeavors + Strong written and oral communication skills + Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional IQ + Must have authorization to immediately work in the United States > # Location > + The role is based in **Sacramento, CA** with some travel across California.
