We are looking for a highly organized and computer savvy individual to administratively support our PLC Programming team. As the PLC Administrative Support, you'll coordinate calendars and travel arrangements, track hardware/software distribution, help PLC Programmers prepare hardware for jobs, and take incoming department calls. Job Summary: Under moderate supervision, provide administrative support to the PLC department. Essential Functions: Maintain department calendar; enter and update employee attendance Track and maintain the production schedule Create user manuals containing job software and documentation for presentation to clients; copying and binding Track hardware/software that is distributed to the client; create inventory lists and schedules for all computers and peripheral equipment, application software/licenses, operating systems, and associated documentation Set-up and prepare job hardware for the assigned PLC Application Engineer Order equipment and office supplies for the department Take incoming department calls Schedule and setup department meetings Provide administrative support to the entire deartment; copy, fax, e-mail, and proof read memos Perform all other duties as assigned Education/ Experience: High School diploma and related experience or Associates degree in related field and at least 2 years of related experience or At least 2 years of experience in an administrative support role Customer service experience a plus Skills/ Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Powerpoint Excellent communication skills; written and verbal Ability to type at least 50 wpm Technical aptitude a plus
