The California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) is a state-wide organization representing the professional interests of 4,500 pre-licensed and licensed speech-language pathologists and audiologists in California. CSHA has a staff of four full-time employees.

CSHA is seeking a continuing education and membership coordinator to process continuing education paperwork and coordinate the CSHA membership process. This position also designs marketing materials for CSHA and creates flyers/promotional material for local district (chapter) events.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree, strong computer and customer-service skills, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required. Prior experience working in the non-profit industry preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit a high degree of professionalism, tact, diplomacy, initiative and have a strong desire for continuous learning and development.
Travel three times per year (to state and regional events) required. CSHA’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Salary commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements
• Process all continuing education paperwork
• Answer incoming calls, including member inquiries
• Process new membership applications, as well as renewals
• Design marketing and promotional material
• Maintain membership and continuing education records
• Perform other duties as assigned

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Executive Director. Frequent contact with all staff members.

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIP: Frequent communication with members, vendors and volunteers.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment and work as part of a team
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience with Microsoft Office, database, and desktop publishing software
• Non-profit experience strongly preferred
