As a Senior Systems Architect within the 3DXP Media System Engineering at Micron, you will be responsible for defining hardware and firmware architecture development for new emerging NVM based products.
Job Responsibilities:
:Media management architecture development: translating algorithms to hardware and firmware architecture
:Hardware and firmware co:development on media controller architecture
:Hardware micro:architecture in data path, buffer management, error correction, and MCU
:Performance modeling
:Defining hardware and firmware specifications
:Hardware and firmware architecture validation at system level
Required qualifications:
:Technical expertise in hardware and firmware architecture for solid state based storage and memory systems
:Extensive experience with SSD controller backend (media) and FTL development
:Experience with performance modeling
:Innovative problem solving skills
:Understanding of NVM media device such as NAND flash memory or other new emerging memory technology is a plus
:Strong communication skills and cross:functional teamwork
:MS degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) with 6+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) with 2+ years of industry experience.
