Job Description:/h3:
Primary Objectives:
:
Coordinates the full life cycle of assigned marketing projects.
:
Assists in defining the project scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and budget.
:
Serves as liaison for assigned projects and helps project team complete projects within the planned scope, schedule and budget.
:
Coordinates special and community related marketing and corporate events. Collaborates and communicates with event volunteers.
:
Assists team members with day:to:day marketing tasks and performs general administrative duties in support of the department.
:
Communicates with members and/or the public who have won prizes and performs member research when needed.

Principal Responsibilities:
:
Establishes and maintains marketing project schedules and status reports; obtains cost estimates and tracks actual expenses.
:
Works with project owners to identify, create and manage all documentation and reports associated with a project, to include milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, summary of costs incurred.
:
Alerts team members and management when projects are at risk, behind schedule or not within budget requirements.
:
Uses project scheduling and control tools to help the project manager monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
:
Coordinates events such as branch openings, annual meetings, and community outreach events. Tracks and distributes leads gathered.
:
Maintains marketing expense files, processes invoices and tracks expenses.
:
Orders and maintains all department supplies; orders, disperses and tracks premium inventories.
:
Assists the product analyst with data entry, generates reports for research related projects, and provides support as needed.
:
Professionally interacts with all levels of staff, members and the public.

Qualifications:
:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
:
Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating projects working within a marketing team (financial services industry preferred).
:
Minimum 1 year of administrative assistant experience preferably in a marketing environment.

Skills and Abilities:
:
Advanced PC skills to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook as well as web:based project management software. Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
:
Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to professionally communicate with all levels of staff and vendors.
:
Strong budgeting, event planning and project management skills.
:
Knowledge of and/or application of basic project management principles, theories and concepts.
:
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and to prioritize within a multi:tasked environment.
:
Strong organizational, analytical and problem:solving skills.
:
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing projects/tasks.
:
Ability to work independently, within a team and cross:functionally.
:
Thorough understanding of credit union products, services and overall operation and mission.
