Seeking an Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to become a key team member of the Accounting/Finance department at an established and growing company located in Sacramento, CA. Full-time, Monday-Friday. $18.00-$22.00/hourDirect hire. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist with all general accounting functions - A/P - Accounts Payable - A/R - Accounts Receivable - Auditing - Assist with general office needs - administrative support, as needed - General ledger, journal entries - Bank, credit card, and account reconciliationsAPPLY NOW:For immediate consideration, submit your resume in a Word document format. Minimum of 2 years of recent and progressive experience in a directly related accounting role . Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivots, macros, vlookup). Stable work history - longevity (looking for long-term fit). Qualified candidates will be able to work independently, energetic, upbeat, have a willing attitude, and be flexibleSKILLS and EXPERIENCE:. Understanding and working knowledge of GAAP . Excellent customer service. Advanced computer skills, including a high level of proficiency and current working knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Typing and 10-key by touch . Self-starter who works efficiently alone and in a team. Ability to work swiftly and accurately, excelled at meeting deadlines under pressure and multi-tasking a heavy workload. Effective communication, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language . Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills . Knowledge and practice of time management principles . Excellent organization and follow-up skills . Demonstrate flexibility while operating in a highly professional manner
